바람에게 묻는다

I ask the wind:

In that place, do the flowers still bloom

And does the moon still rise?

I hear from the wind:

Does the one I long for, the one I cannot forget,

Still wait for me,

Lingering in that spot?

The song they used to sing for me—

Are they still singing it alone,

Weeping as they do?

바람에게 묻는다

지금 그곳에는 여전히

꽃이 피었던가 달이 떴던가

바람에게 듣는다

내 그리운 사람 못 잊을 사람

아직도 나를 기다려

그곳에서 서성이고 있던가

내게 불러줬던 노래

아직도 혼자 부르며

울고 있던가.
